Our fundraising efforts at St Crux
So how did we do at St Crux? A profit of £758.40 for the Plays
Twenty-four volunteers from the Trust turned up to run our stalls and cafe at St Crux in March. Needless to say, the weather could have been kinder – this is 2016 after all – but that didn’t stop us making a profit of £758.40. A brilliant result and adding to our funds to support performances of York’s Mystery Plays.
A very big thank you to all our volunteers, to Gary Bateson and Steve Barker for organising it so efficiently, to everyone who provided home baking to sell (so much talent among our members!) and for donating such good quality bric-a-brac, books and DVDs. A particular thank you to Andy Voakes for once again donating one of his famous pork pies and to Rookes Limited of Elvington for donating cooked ham for the sandwiches. We really appreciate all your support.
