The Barbours’ Play: the Baptism of Christ
We were invited to perform the Baptism of Christ on 24 and 25 June 2023 at Holy Trinity, Goodramgate, York.
Why that weekend?
23rd June is the festival of St John the Baptist – and that’s why we performed the Baptism play at the invitation of Holy Trinity. It’s the only play in which the Baptist appears (excluding the Harrowing of Hell of course). We were delighted that Paul Toy (The Flood 2022) stepped up to direct.
